A reward for Careles Whisper

  Admin       Tuesday, November 9, 2021

Yes! There is a reward for careless whispers, even if they're only heard by thee, there is no greater joy than being able to share what you've learned with others.

1. No. If you have been careless and not taken proper precautions while growing something, then there is no reward for being careless. You may think that if you were careless about something, then you would get away with it. But that's not how things work. If you are careless about something, then it means that you did not take any precautionary measures to prevent the occurrence of the problem. So, if you do not take any precautionary steps to avoid problems, then you cannot expect to get away with it.

 2. Yes

There are many rewards for taking good care of your cannabis plants. One of them is that you will enjoy the fruits of your labor. Another is that you will feel proud of yourself for doing what you know is right. And lastly, you will be able to share your knowledge with others who might benefit from it.

 A reward of expensive carelessness

Two people were commenting on the current season we are in as I took them on a drop. As you know we are currently having a rainy or wet season. We have witnessed torrents of heavy downpours, mixed with very strong tree-trunks breaking winds and intense thunderstorms. Everywhere becomes wet and muddy whenever it rains. With this comes diverse opinions from people. While some curse under their breadths when it rains and says they do not like the rainy season, others are often jubilant and full of praises each time it rainfalls. They are happy because the rain has come and dust has vanished, the weather is no longer overbearingly hot but cool, and also it makes farming easy for those who are into various levels of farming.

I want us to look at two kinds of expensive carelessness that a lot of people get involved in and yet the reward from such carelessness are never palatable. This article is based on what one of the passengers said to his colleague given the rainy season.

As I was carrying them, it started to drizzle with intermittent flashes of lightning. So this guy told his friend that he does not joke again whenever it is raining especially when it comes to lightning and thunder due to the bitter experience he had during the last rainy season. So I became more interested in their discussion because I knew I was definitely going to hear something amusing as well as things that will make me learn something or two from them.

He then went on to tell his friend that he was receiving a call with his phone while it was raining with heavy thunderstorms and claps of severe lightning and then he became seriously shocked as if he was holding on to a high tension wire with both of his hands. And that when he was shocked so severely, he lets out ear-piercing shouts before passing out temporarily.

He told the friend that he woke up to meet his wife and children as well as other close family friends wailing as they had thought he was dead and that it took him a long while for him to regain himself. He ended up saying that after that experience, he can never receive or make calls any time it rains. All the same, I was amused when I heard him speak thus. However, I had already known that it was never safe to make or receive calls whenever it was raining because of the risk of the experience he just narrated. But the funny thing is the fact that a lot of people are fully aware of this potential danger and yet a lot of them dismiss its possibility with a wave of their hands not until they have a direct experience like that of my passenger.

I can recall how many times I have had to rebuke adults for either making or receiving calls when it is raining, especially when I see that they are taking such risks where children are around and observing them. Yet I know how often I have been ignored or rebuffed by those I wished to help. The sad thing is that most people who have had this high level of thunder-induced electric shock have not lived to tell the story of their direct experience of making or receiving calls when it was raining.

Another often committed but expensive carelessness concerns using a phone while fueling a generator. This too has proven to be a very costly and deadly carelessness to those who never listen to advice from kind-hearted people. Most often, you see people put on the torchlight in their phone and hold the phone between their lips to make use of the light while pouring fuel (petrol) into their generator whereas they can do so with the aid of real torchlight. Some of them even fuel the generator while it is still steaming.

And some of them have been very fortunate that from the start to finish of fueling the generator, a call does not enter the phone, as such, they feel whoever advises them against such behavior or action is speaking balderdash. But some of the such stubborn and unteachable people have not been so fortunate. Some have died from severe burns from the massive explosion that rocks them when a call enters their phone while using the phone to fuel their generator and ignites the petrol due to the strong presence of gamma rays (i.e. infra-red rays) in the in-coming call signals entering the phone. Some who have not died, rather have ugly scars from the severe burns to show. Those scars serve as a permanent reminder to them of how not to be stubborn and unteachable and as a negative reward for their avoidable but expensive carelessness.

It is always alarming when you hear some highly educated people arguing with you when you dare to advise them not to use the torchlight of their phone while fueling their generator. They will tell you that whatever negative thing or mishap that happened to another person was purely their own fate and destiny to die that way. But is this not setting a bad example to the younger people who are observing them do those negative things? Another expensive carelessness is when people plug their phone with the charger into the electric socket and keep the phone on their beds close to them when going to bed. A lot of such people have met their untimely death through electrocution via the charging phone.

Although there are several other expensive carelessnesses that people get involved in like making or receiving calls while buying fuel at the filling stations even when they read signs urging them not to use their phones or keeping their engines running while fuel is being put in their tanks, after ignoring the pasted signs urging them to switch off their engine, however, I opted to write on the two mentioned above because they are the carelessness that is regularly committed by people.

Some very qualified and highly professional people have lost their lives needlessly simply because they had deceived themselves into believing that they were wiser than those who advised them genuinely from a heart of love. No one individual is a reservoir of all knowledge and wisdom. The so-called irrelevant advice may be what separates us from imminent but avoidable death.

I have always likened people who indulge in such expensive carelessness to someone who picks up a bottle and sees clearly written on the label of the bottle “Poison. Don’t drink” yet they open the bottle and empty the content of the bottle into their throat. That means they are prepared to face the consequences squarely. What do you think?
