This will ensure the
deposition of the sperm close to the cervix. At
the time of ejaculation, it is necessary for the man to maintain a deep penetration and deposit the sperm close to the cervix which is the entrance to
the womb. At this time, body movements should be reduced to the barest minimum.
This way, the spermatozoa have a shorter distance to swim through to the
waiting egg in the Fallopian tube. It also escapes any acidic condition in the
vagina and so its active performance is not slowed down. This is desirable
because the secretion within the cervix and womb will be highly alkaline.

Vagina
penetration from the rear is the recommended position. This Dr. Shettles says
helps ensure deposition of the sperm at the entrance of the womb.
For deeper penetration at the time of ejaculation and to ensure the deposition of the sperm at the entrance of the womb, it is recommended that the man enters from the rear. The couple may not necessarily start with the rear entry as this method does not allow for much romantic displays but may resort to it before ejaculation. This may be just before you work yourselves up to the crescendo called orgasm.

The couple may not necessarily start with the rear entry as this method does not allow for much romantic displays but may resort to it before ejaculation. This may be just before you work yourselves up to the crescendo called orgasm.
However,
the decision to start with the rear entry or not is best made by the couple.
Actually there are many styles of the rear entry. The woman can lie face down
or kneel down with her chest touching the bed or any other combination of
positions that will make it easy for the man to have an easy and deep
penetration from behind while also performing some acrobatic displays. Previous
preliminary rehearsals will help to perfect the acts before the final
"match" Prior abstinence is necessary; intercourse should be avoided
completely from the beginning of the monthly cycle until after the day of
ovulation. This helps to ensure maximum sperm count, a factor favouring the Y
Chromosome.
As a matter of fact, the man needs a rich store of semen to be able to deliver very well. Contained in the semen are seminal fluids, sperm cells and other secretions produced in glands and vesicles of the man's reproductive system. The semen is the milky fluid that is discharged by the man at the time of ejaculation. The seminal fluid some of which is emitted from the male organ before or during sexual intercourse helps to lubricate the vagina and also serve as the medium through which the spermatozoa swim to reach their destination. Therefore, if the fluidity of the semen is low, the spermatozoa will have a very poor medium in which to swim.
One other reason for total abstinence is the need to create an assurance that no fertilization of the egg occurs before the time desired. Any sexual intercourse before ovulation will create an uncertainty that may introduce doubts more so if the couple encroaches on the unsafe period. If however a man thinks he is capable of replenishing his store of semen in less than two weeks or he is not willing to starve himself or abstain for the two weeks, he should make sure that they do not encroach on the unsafe period of the wife's menstrual cycle or may take a protective measure.
From the foregoing, if the above mentioned six steps are followed meticulously, the right timing and conditions would have been created for the choice of a male offspring. It also implies that the absence of one factor or step may affect the result. For example, a cold reception or frigidity from the woman even when the intercourse is well timed may not bring the desired results.
The Procedure for the Choice of Female Offspring.
Earlier, the fact has also been established that if the X Chromosome sperm (which produces girls) from the man is the first to fertilize the egg, the outcome is a baby girl. Therefore, the procedure for the choice of female offspring involve assisting or creating a favourable environment and conditions for the X chromosome sperm to fertilize the egg.
Also, the X Chromosome sperm possesses some unique characteristics that distinguish it from the Y Chromosome sperm. The X Chromosome sperm has an oval shaped head, larger in size, heavier, slow in movement, lives longer and smaller in quantity than the Y Chromosome in one ejaculation. In addition, it remains active in a dry and acidic environment whereas the Y Chromosome is hindered and may die fast in a dry and acidic environment. To this extent, two main factors are similarly required for the effective performance of the X Chromosome sperm- timing and a conducive environment.
For the choice of a female offspring, the following steps should be taken;
1. Intercourse should cease two or three days before ovulation. Timing is the most important factor. It has been mentioned that the X Chromosome sperm has a longer life span than the Y Chromosome sperm. It means that in a quantity of spermatozoa discharged during ejaculation into the female reproductive system, the X Chromosome sperm will normally outlive the Y Chromosome sperm. If therefore sexual intercourse should cease two or three days before ovulation, the Y Chromosome sperm and the X Chromosome sperm will both have to wait in the Fallopian tube for the ovulation to take place and for the ovum to arrive. In the process of waiting, the Y Chromosome sperm which has a shorter span of life will die before ovulation while the X Chromosome sperm will outlive it and end up fertilizing the ovum to produce a baby girl. This has been the pattern with many couples. Usually, because a couple has decided that the woman should get pregnant at a point in time, they will normally continue to have sexual intercourse immediately after menstruation. Few days to ovulation, diminishing return will set in for both of them. The man's performance will drop, his semen will have low seminal fluid, and both of them may not be very keen for sex any more at this period of time. This way, the right condition for the X Chromosome sperm to fertilize the ovum would have been created.
