1. The man determines the sex of the baby. The husband is the
donor of the sex cells called Chromosomes which determine whether the baby will
be a boy or a girl. The sex selection theory is based on how to assist or
create the right atmosphere for the boy or girl sex cell of the man to
fertilize the female egg.

2. Marrying many wives is not the solution for a man whose wife has given
birth to only boys or only girls. The man is the one that determine the sex of
the baby.
3. Giving birth to only girls is not a crime or misnomer. It
has been proven that girls are cool-headed, gentle, peace loving and exemplary.
Even as first born, their restive nature enhances good upbringing for other
children in the family. Anyway, if there must be continuity, girls must be born
so that they can in turn bear the next generation. What we must all do to stop
discrimination against the girl child is to ensure proper education, training
and upbringing of girls. This will empower the girls and make having the girl
child attractive.
4. Family planning is not meant for only the women, neither is the
knowledge about it. It is expected that husbands and wives plan together what
they desire for their families, how and what method-or strategy to use to
achieve this.
5. Infertility is not found only in women. There are many- men
with problems of infertility such as sterility, 19w sperm count and so on. Only
proper medical diagnosis can reveal or confirm what the problems are and who
has the problems. The man and the woman who have problems of childbirth
should be willing to readily submit themselves for medical checkups and
treatment.
6. Frigidity is peculiar to women. It refers to a situation-where a woman
is poor or totally lacks the ability to respond to romantic or sexual
activities. Such women may not always be in the mood for sex. The husband of a
woman who is frigid will need a lot of patience and understanding to cope and
to help her to improve. In addition, the mood or the desire for sex by a woman
is usually influenced by different periods in her menstrual cycle.
7. Libido refers to the sexual drive or desire in men and women. Some men
have low sexual drive; some have high sexual drive while others just fall in
between. A man or woman is expected to adjust to the level of the spouse's
libido. This will help them-have a meaningful sexual relationship free from
grumbling.
The woman also needs to know that after every ejaculation the man needs some
reasonable time to replenish sapped energy as he looses some calories during
ejaculation. The recovery time vary from man to man.
8. Has your spouse ever suggested a new idea or style to improve
your sexual life as partners? This may be the product of imaginative sex and
does not necessarily imply or mean that he or she has been having extra-marital
affairs. Often people daydream and in their imagination conceive new ideas or
styles of sexual relationships. Expectedly, they will be curious and will like
to practicalise any of such ideas or styles. Couples should seize opportunities
to discuss such ideas and styles and where acceptable put them to use. Such
opportunities created in the marital home will kill the curiosity to experiment
outside.
9. A drop of sperm contains millions of sperm cells. Each sperm cell
is capable of fertilizing the ovum. Therefore, do not underestimate the potency
of one drop of sperm nor the small quantity that could be found in the semen
except a man has low sperm count.
l O. Age is not a barrier that should prevent couples from enjoying
mutual sexual relationship. With understanding and cooperation, there is no
limit to the enjoyment and satisfaction that even old couples can get from
sexual relationships, Even when a woman has reached her menopause, she and her
husband can still enjoy mutual sexual relationship.
